What do you love most about bodybuilding?
It is a individual sport. I enjoy seeing the changes I make to my body year after year.
When did you start lifting weights?
I have always been into weight lifting. As a middle school student I was a middleweight wrestler. I played football and threw shot put in high school. in college I also played football and participated in track and field.
What is the hardest part of bodybuilding?
The time away from my family. You miss a lot of things.
Special Thanks to:
My wife for dealing with me on those long hard diets. My son, Xavier, who gives me something to look forward to day in and day out. My friends and family for all of their support. My trainer Andy Bartolovich for showing me the ropes and having faith in me from the beginning. My sponsor Universal Nutrition for giving me my first big break. Also Bill Comstock and Neil Warren for the awesome photographs. Irv Gelb for noticing my potential. Last but not least the fans! I know that I mentioned that bodybuilding was a individual sport when you are on stage, but there are a lot of people behind the scenes who don't get the acknowledgement that they should, so thanks to you also.
